Arid Lands Australia Incorporated is a non-profit organisation that was conceived to promote and develop events that highlight the needs of people who live work and play in the arid parts of Australia.
The Festival will coincide with The Great Hughenden Camel Endurance Challenge and a weekend of fun and excitement which will bring the town to life and show those attending the conference that the people of Hughenden have the legendry outback spirit of hospitality and friendship necessary to bring the world together.
Camel Endurance Race
Its first big event will be run In Hughenden, Queensland on the 22nd 23rd and 24th of August 2008 with a huge Arid Lands Festival and a $50,000 prize purse camel endurance race. ... more >>>
